in response to Halle...Wow. I live in Tx and get ssdi. I was a nurse for 20 years and now get around 1100 a month. I found a house with an attached apt and a small house in the back that I could rent but I have to get financing first. Any idea where I could get help to get the financing. I do not qualify for food stamps or public assistance as I have no children that live att home. I want this house so bad. It will give me a little financial freedom and also a sense of purpose. I need that back in my life.
